What is a pitch organization?

A pitch organization is a limited-access organization you can create to demo Pierview’s AI visibility data to a prospective client. It works like a regular organization, with prompts, brand tracking, and visibility metrics, but it does not count toward your subscription seat. Use pitch organizations when you want to:
  • Show a prospect their current AI visibility before they sign up
  • Run a comparison against their competitors as part of a sales pitch
  • Validate Pierview’s data with a client before onboarding them

Creating a pitch organization

1

Open the organization switcher

Click your organization name in the top-left of the sidebar. Select Add organization.
2

Select 'Pitch'

Choose the Pitch type when prompted. You’ll see your current pitch org usage (e.g., 1/3 used this month).
Pitch organizations are subject to a monthly limit based on your subscription plan. Once the limit is reached, you’ll need to wait for the next calendar month or upgrade.
3

Fill in the details

Enter the prospective client’s:
  • Name: e.g., the company name
  • Domain: e.g., acmecorp.com (used for citation and domain matching)
  • Aliases (optional), brand name variants to capture all mentions
4

Run a visibility scan

Switch into the pitch organization and run prompts as you would for any organization. Visibility, sentiment, and citation data will populate normally.

Pitch vs. standard organizations

Converting a pitch organization

When a prospective client decides to move forward, you can convert their pitch organization into a full organization. This preserves all existing data and configuration.
  1. Open the pitch organization’s settings (via the organization switcher → Edit)
  2. Click Convert to Full Organization
  3. Confirm, the organization will be added to your subscription and billed accordingly
Converting a pitch organization is permanent. It will count toward your billing quantity and the converted status cannot be reverted.

Limits and availability

  • Monthly pitch org limits are set per workspace based on your subscription plan
  • Limits reset at the start of each calendar month
  • Creating pitch organizations requires workspace Owner or Admin role
